Pastor Norm Mathison

Pastor Norm and his wife, Teri, were led by the Lord to come to North Carolina for the purpose of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and teaching the Word of God in an expository, verse by verse manor.  

As with so many Calvary Chapel affiliates, we too, grew out of the Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa ministry of Pastor Chuck Smith, by way of Pacific Hills Church in Southern California. In fact we came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1979 through Calvary Chapel of Laguna Beach. Since then we have grown and served in many capacities, including; Men’s and Women’s ministries, Marriage and Family ministries, Children’s Church and some others. 

Arriving in North Carolina in May of 1998, we started a mid week home study.

Until we have a chance to meet and fellowship with you, may you find yourself in the very center of: “the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit…” 2 Cor.13:14.
